Michael ray Stevenson is popularly known as Tyga his stage name is an American singer, songwriter, actor, rapper and television personality. He was a solo artist initially and released several songs but then in 2008, he signed a contract with Young Money Entertainment, Republic Records, and Cash Money Records.

Early life
Tyga was born on November 19, 1989, in a socio-economic area of Compton, California and then moved to adjacent Gardena. He attained his pet name from his mother who used to call him Tiger Woods. He is of Jamaican and Vietnamese descent because his mother was, in fact, a Vietnamese.
Stevenson was fond of listening to music since childhood. He used to listen, Lil Wayne, Fabolous Cam’ron, and Eminem. He was born in a low area of Compton but in one of the leaked footage from Bustas (the television show) but he claimed that he belongs to a rich well off family where his parents used to drive a range rover.

In the F.A.M.E tour after-party with Chris Brown that was held at The King Of Diamonds in Miami, he met Blac Chyna. She became the leading lady in Tyga’s music video Rack City. The couple announced their engagement in 2011 and gave birth to their son King Cairo Stevenson in 2012. Tyga purchased a $6.5 million mansion in Calabasas for his new family. They both tattooed their son’s name but unfortunately, the couple separated in 2014.

Tyga career started with multiple demo tapes and mixtapes. The talent of this young artist garnered when he released young on probation. His cousin Travie McCoy offered him to join hands with Independent Label Dcd2 Records (Decaydance Records). He also signed GED Inc. during that period.
In 2008 his first independent album no introduction was released under decaydance records. One of the songs from this album diamond life was used in Madden NFL 2009 and Need For Speed: Undercover (a video game).
