Early life
Lil Jon was born on January 17, 1971, in Atlanta Georgia. His father was an engineer at Aerospace and Defense Company and his mother was in the military. He is the oldest one among his 4 siblings. He was blessed to have Swayne Searcy, Vince Phillips, and Robert Mcdowell as his lifelong friends and later his business partners.
This trio surpassed the skateboarding culture and then later work at the bicycle shop known as Skate Escape at Piedmont Park. He also started working in the local dance clubs as a DJ.
Lil Jon went to Redrick Douglass High School and also became a member of the magnet program and school marching band.
