In 1990, Chad Kroeger along with his cousin Brandon Kroeger, Brother Mike Kroeger and singer Ryan Peake started a cover band The Village Idiots. This band didn’t get much fame and fortune and received very little success. This team of the village idiots then comes up with a brand new band, Nickelback in 1995 and for more than two decades Kroeger was the partner of Nickelback.

In 2002 Chad Kroeger founded another band name Suits XL with Yohann, Patrick, Roy, Antoine, and Sam. In 2003, Kroeger co-founded another band 604 Records which is Vancouver British Columbia based. 604 Records and Suits XL collaborated and released an album in 2006.

Kroeger did his best in production and collaborated with several singers to give masterpieces to the music industry. In 2002, Chad along with other teammates also performed theme song “hero” for the super hit movie “spider-man”. Kroeger also produced music for famous brands like Bo Bice and Default. Kroeger also played a part in many albums of other musicians including, Balls Out and Shock Value 2.
