Early life
Wayne Gretzky was born in Brantford on January 26, 1961, to Phyllis leone and Walter Gretzky a bell telephone worker in Canada. After the seven months to the birth of Wayne, the family moved to a house in Varadi Avenue. They chose this place so that they could make an ice rink in winter.
