Percy Robert Miller popularly known by his stage name Master P is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, actor, entrepreneur, businessman and basketball player.
He founded a record-producing company known as record label No Limit Records that is launched as New No Limit Records through Koch Records and Universal Records. Currently, it is re-launched as No Limit Forever Records and also the founder of Better Black Television and P. Miller Enterprises. He was ranked at number 3 among the richest figure in hip hop having a net worth of around $700 million in 2009.
In 1990, Miller got much fame and fortune through a hip hop music group called TRU. Along with it, one of his solo albums Ice-Cream Man did great business. In 1997, his single Make Em Say Uhh gone platinum in U.S. and opened many opportunities for him. After this successful single, he released 15 studio albums altogether.

Early life
Master P was born on April 29, 1970, in the Calliope Projects, New Orleans, Louisiana. His parents got divorced when he was quite small. He was raised by his father along with four other siblings including one sister Germaine and three brothers Kevin, Corey (known as c- murder) a platinum-selling rap artist and Vyshonne (known as Sikk the shocker). Miller spent a miserable childhood where he used to live in a small house with lots of people and where at times, he had nothing to eat.
Master P went to Booker T Washington High School and Warren Easton High School. He was very much interested in basketball, therefore, admitted to the University of Houston on an athletic scholarship. Later, he was sent to Merit College in Oakland where he got a degree in business administration.
He inherited nearly $10,000 after his grandfather’s death and from this money he inaugurated a record store with his record label No Limit Records.
In 1990, he lost his beloved brother Kevin in New Orleans. The murder of his brother left a scar on his mind and soul. Therefore he decided to focus on his career to become a successful entrepreneur in future.
Personal life
Miller married Sonya Miller in 1989. The couple gave birth to seven children including Cymphonique Miller And Romeo. Unfortunately, the couple separated and divorced in 2014.

Miller works for people. He is a kind-hearted man and wanted to invest his money to change people’s lives like he changed his own. He founded youth centers known as P. Miller Youth Center and also founded Food Foundation to provide food for the homeless. Maxine Waters a congress member awarded him the certificate of special recognition for his exceptional services to the communities.
In 2016, Miller formed team H.O.P.E. (helping our players excel) by selecting 20 players from different schools in New Orleans for the teachings on matters and issues of practical life.
Career
Master P started his career in 1991, with the studio album Get Away Clean. Soon his second album Mama’s Bad Boy released and did great business in the country. His first collaborative album was released in 1992 with the group TRU named Who’s The Killer.
In 1994 he released his third studio album The Ghettos Tryin To Kill Me which was also re-released in 1997. Later he released several albums including West Coast Bad Boys, West Coast Bad Boyz High To Xmas, Vol 1 : Anthony Level Of The Game, 99 Ways To Die, True (Which Contain One Of Miller’s Best Single I’m Bout It, I ‘m Bout It), and Down South Hustlers: Bouncin And Swingin.
Later from 1995 till 2000 he released many successful albums including Ice Cream Man (containing a single hit Ice Cream Man) Tru 2 The Game, His Break Through Album Ghetto D (That Go Certified Triple Platinum With Almost 260,000 Copies Sold), Mp Da Last Don, Only God Can Judge Meda Crime Family, Ghetto Postage, and Goodfellas.
In 2005 Miller along with his son Romeo Miller formed an independent record company named Guttar Music and released their first album Living Legend platinum-certified D Boy and then Hip Hop History In 2007.
From 2010 till now his label with the collaboration of his brother Sikk The Shocker and his son Romeo is recording successful tracks with the world-class rappers of all time including Gucci Mane, Kirko Bangz, Fat Trel, Clyde Carson, Chief Keef, Alley Boy, Wiz Khalifa, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown.
