Early life
Silver was born on April 25, 1962, in Rye Westchester County, New York. He started his early education by attending Rye High School from where he graduated in 1980.
After completing his graduation he went to Duke University and got the degree of bachelors of Arts in political science. From 1984 to 1985 he worked for U.S Congressman Leus Aucoin as a legislative assistant. In 1988 he graduated with a JD degree of law from the University Of Chicago Law School.
After attending the law school, Silver worked and got training under Judge Kimba Wood of the United States district court of the southern district of New York. Then he joined the law firm of Cravat, Swaine, and Moore as an associate.
